Kim Kennamer loves stories--reading them, writing them, hearing them, telling them.
While she is comfortable using both her computer and good old-fashioned pen and paper to write, she is no stranger to scribbling stories on random pieces of paper, old receipts and even the occasional paper napkin.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, she has worked in the corporate world of New York City, taught yoga in a small East Texas town, and studied massage therapy in Boulder, Colorado. She has also had the great fortune to travel a bit on this globe, usually on a backpacker’s budget. Having given up her former preoccupation with making plans, she now believes that life is actually nothing more than a series of detours, each illuminating one’s unscripted path to the places and people we are, surprisingly or not, meant to find. She does not believe in coincidence.
A native Texan who has left and returned home more than once, she currently resides in Austin where she has rediscovered her love of hot days and even hotter chilis.
